Progressive Safety Days
A hands-on educational day teaching kids important safety skills through interactive stations.
The Battlefords Agricultural Society invites children to the Progressive Agricultural Safety Day, North America’s largest urban and rural safety and health education program for youth. Sponsored by the Saskatchewan Association of Agricultural Societies & Exhibitions (SAASE) and generous local supporters, this free, hands-on event offers interactive safety stations with educational presenters and displays. Designed for Grades 1 to 6, students must be accompanied by teachers or chaperones.
Schedule & Details
- Start: Children arrive by 9:30 AM and proceed through numbered safety stations—guided sessions led by coordinators.
- Lunch: Served free in the Agrivilla Building between 11:45 AM and 12:45 PM.
- Afternoon: Sessions resume in the AgriPlex at 1:00 PM, concluding by 2:30 PM.
- At the end of the day, each student receives a gift bag before departure.
How to Register & Tickets
- This program is free, thanks to the generosity of SAASE and local sponsors.
- Pre‑registration is required and spaces are limited. Please respond as soon as possible with your number of attendees.
- A signed consent form is mandatory for insurance purposes—either submitted beforehand or brought on event day. No child will be admitted without it. You can fax to 306‑445‑3352, or email jocelyn@agsociety.com administration@agsociety.com.
